HEALTH SERVICES

Lagunenses are served by 9 public and 269 private hospitals and clinics. These hospitals provide primary, secondary, and tertiary services consisting of the standard medical and auxiliary services.A number of government hospitals have been renovated and expanded by the Provincial Government to improved health care and medical services.

The most recent beneficiaries are the Laguna Provincial Hospital in Sta. Cruz, which, now, has a new Out-Patient Department, and the J.P. Rizal Memorial District Hospital in Calamba, which has been enlarged to accommodate as many as 75 patients from Laguna and the neighboring provinces.
