The
balut, penoy, salted eggs, and kinulob na itik of Victoria, Laguna.
The youngest town and the birthplace of then Laguna Governor Jose
D. Lina, Jr., invites you to taste the very nutritious balut as
well as the penoy that will recharge your body for a day long over
work.
The
kinulob na itik which is the palatability comes by roasting to its
extracted oil plus the secrecy in ingredients of a gifted cook will
haunts everyone to taste the special delicacies which you will surely
enjoy.
The
15-18 days old salted of a mallard duck soaked in the mud with salt
combination will entail anybody to the cheapest viand as well as
bread palaman.
This
town was actually a barrio of Pila, Laguna until November 15, 1949
when the late President Elpidio Quirino signed into effect EO 282
segregating this barrio and eight (8) other into an independent
community. It’s name was adopted from President Quirino’s
daughter Victoria.
