The 160 participants of the three-day livelihood training that was held last July 18-20 formally graduated yesterday (July 24) at the Laguna Provincial Police Office (LPPO), Kampo Heneral Paciano Rizal, Sta. Cruz, Laguna.
The graduates successfully finished the short courses on welding, hair trimming, manicure/pedicure, reflexology, and handicrafts making.
Present during the ceremony were Special Livelihood Office (SLO) Head Elma L. Besabe, LPPO Director PS/Supt. Gilbert DC. Cruz, and Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office-Special Social Services Division Chief Marita L. Barcia, SLO staff, and members of the LPPO.
Through Governor Jeorge “E.R.” Ejercito Estregan's programs and projects under his executive agenda called the K2 Kinse-Kumpleto Serbisyo Publiko Kontra Kahirapan at Gutom, Laguneños are given the chance to fight poverty with proper knowledge and skills. (Article by Carladene A. Payag/Edward Aquino)
