277 Pagsanjeños served by PGL's med mission team

          Two hundred seventy-seven (277) patients were served by the Provincial Government of Laguna's (PGL's) medical and dental mission team last July 26, 2012 (Thursday) at Brgy. Lambak, Pagsanjan, Laguna.

          This was made possible through the cooperation of the Office of the Governor, Office of the Provincial Administrator, Laguna Chest Center, Philippine Dental Association Laguna Chapter, Provincial Health Office Dental Team, and Pagsanjan Municipal Health Office.

          In detail, 125 patients were given appropriate medicines; nine (9) took urinalysis; 34 underwent random blood sugar tests (FBS/RBS); 75 got dental flouride; and 30 underwent tooth extraction.

          Aside from the medical services, feeding program and free haircut were also conducted that day. Approximately 300 people benefited from the feeding program while 20 persons got free haircut.

          Governor Jeorge “E.R.” Ejercito Estregan is continuously putting all efforts to reach the poor individuals and families of the province through different programs and projects under the 15-point platform of government called K2 Kinse-Kumpleto Serbisyo Publiko Kontra Kahirapan at Gutom.
