Classes from preschool to postgraduate level are still suspended while government offices' operations resume today, August 9.

As of press time, PDRRMO is assessing the current situation of the province and consolidating status reports from local government units, non-government organizations, civic groups, and individuals. All is advised to take proper precautions and contribute to the efforts of the Provincial Government of Laguna and other groups in helping victims of the southwest monsoon (hanging habagat).
Latest data from PDRRMO reveals that the southwest monsoon has already affected 17,878 families all over Laguna.
