DILG conducts meetings with barangay officials

          Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Laguna conducted a meeting entitled “Meetings with Barangay Officials Focusing in the Prevention and Proliferation of Informal Settlers and Illegal Encroachments and Solid Waste Management” at the Cultural Center of Laguna in Sta. Cruz, May 16.

          Topics discussed was the Manila Bay Clean-up, Rehabilitation and Preservation Project as discussed by Ms. Mei Idlao (Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Manila Bay Coordinating Office); Atty. Maria Elena A. Quebral (DILG Regional Attorney); Mr. Danillo Villa Jr. (Asst. District Engineer- Department of Public Works and Highways Laguna); and Hon. Ronald Obligacion (Liga President, Sta. Cruz Laguna).

          Representatives of the municipalities of Cavinti, Lumban, Famy, Mabitac, Kalayaan, Siniloan, Luisiana, Sta. Maria, Majayjay, Pangil, Paete, Pila, Pagsanjan, Sta. Cruz, and Pakil participated in the said meeting.

          Vice Governor Caesar Perez was also present in the said meeting.
