First Aid and Basic Life Support Demo and Lecture held at NDH

A lecture and demonstration on First Aid and Basic Life Support was held at the Conference Hall of Nagcarlan District Hospital (NDH) last July 14, 2011 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
The activity was sponsored by the NDH staff and personnel themselves as they contributed 100 PhP each to cover the expenses for the said lecture and demo.
The speakers from the Philippine Red Cross-Laguna Chapter (PRCLC) were Ms. Princess Valerie Aguete and Mr. Winil Costa. The hospital staffs were all eager to learn and listened very well to the lecture. The activity lasted for more than two hours.
Saving lives is the utmost priority of the hospital that is why everyone is encouraged to participate in this kind of activity. NDH aims to ensure that every personnel of the hospital is equipped with basic life-support skills that they can use not only at work but also in their personal lives. (Article by Chrislou A.
