PPO-Outreach conducts AHYD Seminars in Nagcarlan and Rizal

Provincial Population Office-Outreach (PPO-Outreach) headed by Ms. Josefina T. Yaneza conducted Adolescent Health and Youth Development (AHYD) Seminar at Rizal Standard Academy in Nagcarlan and at the Municipal Day Care Center of Rizal in Rizal last July 18 and 20, 2012 respectively.
One hundred fifty (150) fourth year students and 20 out-of-school youth participated in the seminar aimed to give information on how kids can have a harmonious relationship with their parents.
Speakers were: Ms. Lucy G. Pailan, Provincial Population Officer II of District IV; Ms. Luz Somatiza, Provincial Population Worker II (PPW II) of Majayjay; Ms. Melcie Alfonso, PPW II of Santa Cruz; Ms. Consorcia P. Robles, PPW II of Liliw; and Ms. Remedios Tumale, PPW II of Ngcarlan.
This activity was done in response to the mission of PPO-Outreach to guide the youth of Laguna towards the right path. It is in line with K#13 (Family, Women, Children and Population Management) of Governor Jeorge “E.R.” Ejercito Estregan's K2 Kinse-Kumpleto Serbisyo Publiko Kontra Kahirapan at Gutom Program.
