    Gov. Lazaro Leads MOU Signing on
TSL Housing Project in Biñan

     The Provincial Government of Laguna headed by Gov. Teresita "Ningning" S. Lazaro through the Provincial Urban Development and Housing Office (PUDHO) Municipal Government of Biñan represented by Municipal Councilor Rene Manabat, Gawad Kalinga (GK) Program of the Couple's For Christ (CFC) represented by its Laguna Team Head Bro. Rodolfo Talosig, and SIKAPVILLE Homeowners Association, Inc. represented by its president Mr. Jovic M. Tiongson recently signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for another Tahanan Sa Laguna (TSL) socializing project at Sitio Kapitana Maria in Brgy. Dela Paz, Biñan, Laguna.

     The lot area (9,257 sq. m.) of the said housing project is projected to generate 150 home lots that shall be distributed to the beneficiaries of the socialized housing project named SIKAPVILLE. The residents now comprise the SIKAPVILLE Homeowners Association Inc. headed by Qualified and selected beneficiaries are from the different barangays within the municipality of Biñan. Majority of which are families facing eviction and demolition from the lots they are presently occupying, and those living along the Philippines National Railways (PNR). The Couples for Christ, through their Gawad Kalinga Program shall be providing free houses for the qualified beneficiaries while the PUDHO shall provide technical and community organizing assistance for the purchase of the land of the project. The project is in line with the Provincial Government's Sulong Kagalingang Pampamilya family welfare program under the flagship Sulong Laguna 7-Point Agenda of Gov. Lazaro. This also includes Sulong Kalusugan at Nutrisyon, Sulong Edukasyon at Isports, Sulong Agrikultura, Sulong Kapaligiran environmental protection program, Sulong Kalakalan at Industriya trade and industry program, and Sulong Kapayapaan at Kaayusan peace and order program. # (PIO-Laguna)
