Gov. Teresita “Ningning” Lazaro led the ceremonial
turning over of five multicab vehicles to the five barangays
from the different Districts of Laguna, held in front of the
New Capitol Building, Provincial Capitol, Sta. Cruz, Laguna
last Monday after the weekly Flag Raising Ceremony.
Present to receive the keys
of the vehicles were Anglas Brgy. Capt. Conrado Villanueva
of Cavinti town (4th District), Kanlurang Kabubuhayan Brgy.
Capt. Teodoro Puma of Nagcarlan (3rd District), Paciano Rizal
Brgy. Capt. Roy Ramos of Calamba City (2nd District), Marinig
Brgy. Capt. Raymundo Francisco of Cabuyao (2nd District),
and Sto. Domingo Brgy. Capt. Encasio Depante of Biñan
(1st District).
Joining Gov. Lazaro in this
simple ceremony are the Board Members of the Sangguning Panlalawigan
ng Laguna and other local officials of the different barangays
all over the province.
The vehicles are project of
the Provincial Government for the barangays in the rural and
urban areas of Laguna to further enhance the standard of public
service in local communities.
“These multicabs are just
a small part of the Provincial Government’s priority
programs under the flagship Sulong Laguna 7-Point Agenda for
a faster delivery of better quality services, especially to
the barangays from the 1st District to the 4th Distict of
Laguna,” Gov. Lazaro said. #
