Gov. Teresita “Ningning” S. Lazaro facilitates
the oathtaking ceremonies of the officers of the Damayan
ng Maralitang Taga-Bukid, Inc. community association headed
by its president Eduardo M. Natividad and the Kusang-Loob
Homeowners Association headed by Nirardo Carlos. Both associations
are of Brgy. Pooc in Sta. Rosa City, which is the location
of the Community Mortgage Program (housing project) of the
Provincial Government through the Provincial Urban Development
and Housing Office (PUDHO), Philippine Deposit Insurance
Corporation, and the closed Fortune Savings Bank and Loan
Assn., Inc., which is the landowner.
The
housing project in the said barangay has a total lot area
of 68,212 sq. m. with two land titles (T-297702 and T-309910)
and with 390 onsite families-beneficiaries that can still
accommodate almost 500 more who can be relocated from the
squatter area along the railroad (home along da riles).
The
ceremonial oathtaking of Kusang-Loob HOA was held last Sunday,
July 16, with PUDHO Chief Benjie Malabanan, Mayor Jose B.
Catindig, City Councilors Lody Carta and Ronald Ian De Guzman,
and Brgy. Councilor Oscar Magsalin.
The
oathtaking of Damayan was held last June 10 with guests
Board Members Marco Sison, Gab Alatiit, and Monching Carillo,
Vice-Mayor Arlene Arcillas Nazareno, City Councilors Arnel
DC. Gomez and Roy Gonzales, Brgy. Councilor Oscar Magsalin,
PUDHO staff Dodong dela Cruz and Buddy Galido, and Laguna
Public Affairs Office staff Charlie Cataran and Ruben Ibañez,
and Coun. Dante Capate.
The
project is in line with the Provincial Government’s
Sulong Kagalingang Pampamilya family welfare program under
the flagship Sulong Laguna 7-Point Agenda of Gov. Lazaro.
This also includes Sulong Kalusugan at Nutrisyon, Sulong
Edukasyon at Isports, Sulong Agrikultura, Sulong Kapaligiran
environmental protection program, Sulong Kalakalan at Industriya
trade and industry program, and Sulong Kapayapaan at Kaayusan
peace and order program. #
