Provincial Information Office

September 8, 2018

Governor Ramil L. Hernandez in his continuous effort to ensure the security, peace and order in the province of Laguna, sponsored the License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF) Caravan.

The two-day LTOPF caravan was held recently at the Laguna Provincial Capitol Extension in Calamba City.

The LTOPF Caravan, a one-stop shop processing and renewal of firearms license, aimed to assist and serve firearms holders and to promote the importance of responsible gun ownership.

A total of one hundred twelve (112) applicants were served during the caravan that was facilitated by the Provincial Government of Laguna (PGL) through the Provincial Peace and Order Office headed by Ms. Maricar A. Palacol.

This activity was done in coordination with PCSupt. Edward Esperat Carranza, Regional Director-Police Regional Office (PRO) IV-A CALABARZON; PSSupt. Kirby John Brion Kraft, Provincial Director-Laguna Police Provincial Office (LPPO); PSupt. Andres Ocampo Simbajon, Jr., Chief-Regional Civil Security Unit; and PSupt Joselito Madiam De Sesto, OIC-Calamba City Police Station (CPS).

Sustainable Peace and Order is one of the major advocacies of Governor Hernandez under his 8-Point Program “Rise High Laguna Serbisyong Tama.” (Article by Odessa T. Bearneza/Photos by Maricar A. Palacol - PIO Laguna)
