LU BSIT students join iSITE Regional Conference

   Forty eight (48) Bachelor of Science in Information Technology ( BSIT ) students of Laguna University (LU) participated in the Regional Student Conference on “Digital Photography and Drone Technology” conducted by the Integrated Southern Tagalog Association of Information Technology Education (iSITE) at Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Calamba, Laguna on January 31, 2017.
 
    The conference featured the Basics of Photography, which was discussed by Mr.  Richard Hidalgo and the latest trends in Drone Technology by Mr. Von Derick Ebreo.
 
    The LU delegation was headed by the dean of the College of Arts Sciences and Technology (CAST), Prof. Numeriano B. Aguado, together with Prof. Reynalen C. Justo, Prof. Sharmaine Justyne R. Maglapuz,  Prof. Charles Alfred A. Cruz  and  Prof. Myline S. Viñas.
 
    This year’s host-school, Letran Calamba, through its Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Odejar, expressed its pride to be one of the partners of iSITE in keeping IT instructors and students abreast with the current trends in information technology.
 
    The awarding of certificates to participating schools culminated the event where LU was granted the “Most Supportive Group” award.
