Provincial Urban Development and Housing Office

October 3, 21018

Through the sponsorship of the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP), the Provincial Urban Development and Housing Office (PUDHO) conducted a series of capability building seminars for Laguna homeowners associations (HOAs).

The Capability Building Program of PCUP for HOAs was designed to provide information to HOA officers and members on how to manage conflicts and issues that may occur within their associations.

PUDHO head Mr. Vivencio G. Malabanan and the office’s district housing coordinators facilitated said seminar, with Ms. Pamela Bianca T. Agres, Ms. Annie V. Nacianceno and Mr. Roberto U. Bonifacio representing PCUP.

The team conducted the first seminar for the 1st and 2nd districts on August 14, 2018 in Calamba City, for District 4A on September 13 at the Governor’s Office Conference Room at the provincial capitol, and for District 4B in the municipality of Mabitac.

Discussed across all seminars were Understanding Conflict Management, Homeowners Management and Orientation on R.A. 9904-Magna Carta for Homeowners and Homeowners Associations. (Article by Josephine B. Miranda and photos by PUDHO/PIO Laguna)
