Trade Fair Competition re-assigned to SLO

  The much awaited Anilag Festival, a celebration centred mainly on the harvest of each locality in the Province of Laguna will be held on March 6 to 11, 2017 with a lot of exciting activities and performances at hand.
 
  One of the major activities of the Festival is the Trade Fair Exhibit/Competition, a contest open to all local government units (LGU) showcasing their respective town festivals and selling local crafts, products and services.
 
  Each participating city and municipality will be assigned a specific area in the Provincial Capitol Festival Grounds with a common 8’ x 3’ size and location of designated booths will be through draw lots. This year’s is theme “Handog ng Laguna sa Lawa ng Pag-asa.“ Selling will be done only in the stall provided at the back of each display booth.
 
  The exhibit will run for six days and judging will be done throughout the week-long celebration. Winners for best booth will be announced on the last day of the festival with the following prizes:

₱      30,000.00  per non-winning entry
 
  Said competition will be hosted once again by the Special Livelihood Office (SLO) by virtue of the Memorandum issued by the Over-all Chairman of the Committee. Invitation letters as well as copy of mechanics and criteria were sent to LGUs of each locality within the province. As of this date, 6 cities and 22 municipalities already showed interest of joining in the official list of participating entries. Promotion, advertisement, other logistics needed and Judges for this event were properly coordinated with concerned offices/groups.
