On March 29, 2017, the Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO) training team conducted a Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) for Agrarian Reform Community in Sta. Maria, Laguna. Thirty five (35) participants attended the half-day seminar held at the compound of Coralan ARC MPC. They will be the newest members of the cooperative following the amendment of its by-laws which expands the membership from Barangay Coralan to the whole of the municipality.
Sta. Cruz, Laguna.The Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO) headed by Mr. Edwin S. Bautista provided an Entrepreneurial and Business Management Seminar to Kabuhayan Para sa Barangay (KPSB) beneficiaries in collaboration with Manila Water Foundation and Laguna Water (a Manila Water Philippine Ventures Company). Around 100 participants attended the seminar consisting of board of directors and general managers of cooperatives within the province of Laguna at the PHO Training Center, Provincial Capitol Compound, Sta. Cruz Laguna on February 22-23, 2017.
Fifty four (54) members from Pila Natural Organic Farming Agriculture Cooperative (PINOFAC) benefited from the Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) conducted by the staff of the Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO) held on February 17, 2017 in Pila, Laguna. This is upon request of Ms. Evita Roqueza, founder chairperson of said cooperative.
