PPOO joins MASA MASID regional launching

Provincial Peace and Order Officer Ms. Maricar Ambrosio Palacol, along with Ms. Teodorica G. Vizcarra, Consultant on Local Governance, attended the Consultation Workshop on Crafting the Anti-Drug Abuse Program of the Liga ng mga Barangay (LNB) Cum MASA MASID (Mamamayang Ayaw sa Anomalya, Mamamayang Ayaw sa Iligal na Droga) Regional Launching held on November 10, 2016 at the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), in Tagaytay City, Cavite.

In behalf of Governor Ramil L. Hernandez, Ms. Maricar Ambrosio Palacol, head of the Provincial Peace & Order Office (PPOO), delivered a timely message for students and teachers of the Filipino subject in the Malayan Colleges Laguna in Cabuyao, Laguna on October 28, 2016.

Provincial Peace & Order joins 2017 Budget Hearing

Ms. Maricar Ambrosio Palacol, head of the Provincial Peace and Order Office (PPOO), joined all other department/unit heads of the Provincial Government of Laguna (PGL) in the conduct of the 2017 Budget Hearing which was held at the Governor’s Executive Conference Room on October 19, 2016. The hearing was presided by Board Members Benjo Agarao and Lorenzo Zuñiga. The activity was mainly for the discussion and approval of budget proposals for 2017 as presented by each department of the provincial government.

JPSCC holds regular monthly meeting

The Joint Peace and Security Coordinating Council (JPSCC) held its regular meeting at the Laguna Police Provincial Office (LPPO) Conference Room on 20 October 2016 at 9:00 AM. It was presided by PSSupt Joel C. Pernito, Acting Provincial Director and JPSCC Chairman along with LTC Christopher Tampus, CO, 1st Infantry Batallion/Co-Chairman. Attendees were the DPDA, DPDO, Provincial Staff (PHRDDB, PIB, POPB, PLB, PFB, PCRB and PIDMB), CC, LPPSC, All Chiefs of Police RPSB 4A (Cavinti and Kalayaan), Laguna CIDT, and Laguna HPU. Main focus of the meeting was the current operation status against illegal drugs and other criminal acts.

PPOO conducts meetings on anti-drug abuse campaign

n support of the administration’s campaign against illegal drugs, the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC)-Technical Working Group conducted another follow-up meeting on September 20, 2016 at 9:00AM at the Provincial Peace and Order Office (PPOO) at the New Capitol Building in Santa Cruz. PCI Charlie Bulan of the Laguna Police Provincial Office acted as Presiding Officer.

Diocesan assembly of church volunteers against illegal drugs

Ms.Maricar A. Palacol, head of the Peace and Order Office, represented Governor Ramil L. Hernandez in the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council and the Provincial Government of Laguna in the diocesan assembly of church volunteers for rehabilitation of drug surrenderees, together with Ms.Teodorica G. Vizcarra, Consultant, and Mr. Ramon G. Cambel, Head, TahananngKabataanng Laguna Drug Rehabilitation Center. The meeting was held at the Bishop’s Residence, Liceo de San Pablo Compound in San Pablo City on 30 September 2016.
