The Provincial Government-Environment & Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) continues toimplement good nursery practices in its management of the provincial plant nursery.
The onset of the year 2017 has been usually busy for the Provincial Government-Environment & Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO). On January 6, nursery workers preared bamboo sticks to be used in the repair of the potting shed. They later planted ornamental plants and watered nursery seedlings.
The Provincial Government-Environment and Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO) always makes sure that the provincial plant nursery is always properly maintained by regularly cleaning the surroundings and providing suitable conditions necessary for optimum plant growth.
The Provincial Government–Environment Natural Resources Office (PG–ENRO)’s week at the provincial nursery after Halloween has been very busy as usual from November 7 to 11, 2016. Seedlings for propagation were collected from the municipalities of Victoria and Magdalena, as well as sraying seedlings in the nursery with insecticide.
The Provincial Government-Environment & Natural Resources Office (PG-ENRO)’s report on the past week’s activities at the provincial nursery as follows:

The checkpoints were established to bring to a halt illegal quarry operations in the province that can adversely affect not only the environment but the economy of the province as well.
Back at the provincial nursery on the other hand, workers continue to plant and to transfer seedlings for hardening such as caballero, narra, Auri, mahogany, kamachile, and mabolo on November 14-18, 2016. Mayana and lemon grass herbal plants were also planted within this period.
