LAGUNA TO STAGE 2017 REGIONAL SPORTS COMPETITION

A proud host of prestigious sporting events in the past, the Province of Laguna is again set to host the 2017 Regional Sports Competition (RSC), formerly known as the Southern Tagalog CALABARZON Athletic Association (STCAA) Meet, on February 13-19 at the Laguna Sports Complex, Bubukal, Sta. Cruz, Laguna.

The Provincial Sports and Games Development Office (PSGDO) hosted the Provincial Government of Laguna’s weekly flag raising ceremony on January 30, 2017 at the Time Plaza, Provincial Capitol Compound.

Laguna holds 1st Gov. Ramil Swim Meet

To cap off its 2016 sports activities, the Provincial Sports and Games Development Office (PSGDO) held its final sporting event of the year with the 1st Governor Ramil L. Hernandez Laguna Open Age Group Swim Meet on December 18 at the Laguna Sports. Complex, Bubukal, Sta. Cruz, Laguna.

Laguna increases medal haul in the 2016 National Batang Pinoy

The Province of Laguna seized 16 gold medals, 11 silver medals and 21 bronze medals in the recently concluded 2016 National Batang Pinoy held on November 27 to December 2, 2016 in Tagum City, Davao del Norte. Sports Development Officer Gerardo S. Cantada was pleased with the province’s medal turnout since the delegation’s overall medal tally this year is 47 compared to last year’s 38 medals.

Gov. Ramil sends off Batang Pinoy athletes

A courtesy call on November 21 at the Cultural Center of Laguna served as Governor Ramil L. Hernandez’ sendoff to Laguna athletes who will be competing in the National Batang Pinoy on November 27-December 3, 2016 in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
