YDA supports ICC Day 2017

The provincial government’s Youth Development Affairs (YDA) Office organized different schools around Laguna including UP Los Baños, City College of Calamba, Laguna College of Business and Arts, Calamba Bay Walk Senior High School, Union College of Sta. Cruz, STI College-Sta. Cruz, AMA Computer College-Sta. Cruz, Philippine Women’s University, San Antonio de Padua College, Paete Science and Business College, Balian Community College, Laguna University, and Lumban Senior High School, to join the International Coastal Cleanup Day campaign on 23 September 2017 which was simultaneously held in the coastal areas of Calamba and Pakil.

Laguna Province hosts APYE 2017 Local Immersion program

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – Under the leadership of Governor Ramil L. Hernandez, the Province of Laguna hosted this year’s 4th Asia Pacific Youth Exchange (APYE) Local Immersion Program. A total of 74 young delegates from South Korea, Thailand, Nepal, Cambodia, India, Vietnam, and China livedwith their respective adoptive families in selected barangays in the cities of Santa Rosa, Biñan, and Cabuyao from July 14 to 19, 2017. They were joined by APYE members from the Philippines.

In cooperation with the Youth Development Affairs Office (YDAO), the National Power Corporation (NAPOCOR) conducted the Batang Kalikasan Youth Empowerment Training and Team Building Seminar on August 30-31, 2016 at Camarin Resort, West Talaongan, Cavinti, Laguna.

HIV AND AIDS AWARENESS SEMINAR

In celebration of the 445th Foundation Day of our province, the Youth Development Affairs Office in cooperation with the Laguna Tourism, Culture, Arts and Trade Office (LTCATO), Provincial Gender and Development (GAD) and Laguna Medical Center - HIV and AIDS Core Team (LMC-HACT) conducted the HIV and AIDS Awareness Seminar on July 28, 2016, 10 a.m. at the Laguna Cultural Center.
